Advance Legal Search was founded in 2000 by experienced attorneys to
optimize the complex process of finding the best and brightest legal
professionals for the most selective and demanding positions.

As both practicing attorneys and recruiters we knew the frustration that both
candidates and clients felt from the "old model" of legal recruiters, who
frequently had never practiced law or worked for a law firm and never
understood the hiring process through the eyes of the client or the candidate.

Determined to provide better service to both our candidates and clients,
Advance Legal Search was founded with the charter to be different from the
old model.  We see our role as that of consultant rather than salesperson.  
Our recruiters never cold-call attorneys and we never try to force a fit that
doesn't make perfect sense to both the attorney and the hiring entity.  We
deliver a level of discretion and confidentiality that our competitors cannot
match.
